A. Human ownership; We cannot talk about Blessings without understanding the position of man; A person’s position will determine what that person can own. Genesis 1:26-27 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” A person’s position must be connected to the creator, without that, possessing is something difficult for that person.
B. What is Blessing? It is a word uttered for creation; God spoke a word to a created being and through that created word a blessing was commanded to him. In that sense, we see blessings not as things, but as a spoken word of command that always precedes you and prepares the environment for you.
KINDS OF BLESSINGS
• Genesis 1:28 “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
Here we see God commanded a blessing for man through his Word and it happened.
• Genesis 2:1-3 “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” You should bless the day so that it produces blessings, when we command the blessings of the day, it means that we command that day to produce what is associated with that day. Every day has something special for you, so if the day is not blessed then you cannot get that blessing.
Every day is God’s day, the day you get your day is when you are blessed. Every blessing has its day, if you know how to count your days, you become rich, but if you miss a day, you become poor, while you are blessed, you are carrying blessings but you do not have those blessings. With God there are all kinds of blessings, if you want children, education, husband or wife, money is there for you but if you don’t know the day that your blessing is released then you won’t be able to get it so you should be very careful. Your day must be blessed.
A FATHERLY BLESSING FROM APOSTLE AND PROPHET JOSEPHAT ELIAS MWINGIRA
From today, go forth and be fruitful and multiply; have dominion over creation. I decree the blessings of God, those He gives to those He loves, to come upon you. I command the blessings of God to rest upon you, and may the richness of the land come and remain in your life. May God grant you to live and increase.
From today, you have been elevated; your end will be better than your beginning. Those who laughed at you and despised you will know that the Lord has remembered you. Today marks the end of your mourning, rejection, and failure.
From now on, you will not die prematurely; you will be a comfort to your family, your nation, and the Church because the Lord has favored you.
