Isaiah 43:26 “Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.”
Our God is a God of order; He encourages us to plan our prayers. When you pray, be intentional about what you want to say to Him. Do not go before God without a clear purpose, nor bring complaints without understanding.
Before you pray, ensure that your heart is pure and free from regrets, meaning you do not feel condemned when the Word is spoken.
In every prayer you make, God has assigned angels to carry it out, but He listens to what you say. Do not be careless, for our accuser, the devil, is present. If your ways are not upright, he will oppose your prayers because he has the right to do so. But if your prayers are made in the faith of the righteous, he cannot oppose them.
When you pray about marriage, explain the legitimacy of your marriage. If it is not biblically lawful, then your prayers become mere noise before the Lord. Understand that valid prayers are those based on God’s promises. Therefore, it is important to develop a habit of reading God’s Word so that your prayers carry a divine impact.
