Ephesus 2:8-10 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast…”
What is the meaning of Grace? It is the situation where God enables you to be in a place or to do something without any criteria, i.e. you do not have the qualifications that make you do that thing but you do it because of Grace. In the Bible we see Apostle Paul, he was the one who was chosen during the period when Jesus had already ascended, it means that Paul did not receive the teachings of Jesus when He was on earth but this Apostle was the one who brought greater change than the other Apostles. Among the Apostles who did great work, Paul is one of them. During the rule of Rome it was very difficult for the Gospel to penetrate but Paul preached, he did not look at the environment around him but he looked at the Grace he carried.
Paul was killing the servants of God, so there was no Messenger who could testify about Jesus and make him stop what he was doing; so Jesus appeared Himself to Paul. Because of what was done by Paul, kill the servants of God, there was no forgiveness because God said “Whoever touches my messiah is the same as touching the apple of my eye”. But Jesus had to come and show His mercy and grace first because if He wanted Paul to repent he would not have finished.
When you go to God, don’t start explaining that I did this and that, God does not like many explanations, when the Grace of Salvation finds you, use that Grace well. God doesn’t like to use weak people so don’t look at where you came from and judge yourself too much and see yourself as unworthy before the Lord, the Bible says the Kingdom of God is conquered by the strong.
For you who are saved, it doesn’t matter how people see you, it doesn’t matter how many evil you have committed, but the Lord has mercy on you and your value before God is great because you have a different Grace. Grace is available to those who are humble.
