Seeking the Kingdom of God:
Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
God’s people have the character of seeking God at all times. Jesus showed us in the “Lord’s Prayer” that we should desire His Kingdom to come and His will to be done here on earth.
Ephesians 2:19 – “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of His household.”
When we worship God and live according to the matters of His Kingdom, we become part of God’s family even while still here on earth.
To seek the Kingdom of God means to seek to have a godly character — a heavenly character. This helps us understand God’s voice, His will, and how to live in a way that pleases Him. Without that, life becomes full of struggles.
Love:
1 Corinthians 16:14 – “Let all that you do be done in love.”
Whatever you do, be sure to do it in love — not in hatred or revenge. God is love, and as a child of God, you must live in love. When people look at you, they should see the love of God in you.
1 John 3:1 – “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.”
Angels observe who lives in love and they count them as part of God’s family. When you are part of this family, God takes care of you like His own child at home.
A loving word is powerful, attractive, and gives life. A word without love wounds.
Even when you are serving others, do it with love — only then will you be a true help to many.
