Apostle David Mwakisole
When you are saved, you become a new creation. The old things pass away, and behold, all things become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
As a new creation, you die to the things of the world and become alive to the things of heaven.
Being a new creation enables you to receive close and direct help from God. When you are in Christ Jesus, you inherit all the blessings of God, but when you are outside of Christ, you live under a curse.
Ephesians 1:3
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”
As a new creation, you receive God’s help easily and closely. Your actions and thoughts should always reflect that you are a new creation. Make sure you hold on to the new things and do not walk with the old ways. It is possible that people have counted the days of your life, but do not fear them; they are only human and have no control over your life. The one who holds the count of your life is God.
It is also possible that people may mock you because of the difficult life you live today, but do not be angry or start crying and complaining. Remember, they are just people who do not know the good things ahead of you that God has prepared.
Remember: Do not live according to people or circumstances, but always look to God, who can do all things. With Him, nothing is impossible. Many people forget and lack the zeal to seek God when they are successful. However, understand that whenever you succeed, whenever you see blessings in your life, that is the moment to seek God with even more diligence and strength, so that you secure greater protection over the blessings God has allowed into your life.
Being a new creation means that you have been crucified with Christ, and now you live with the eternal life of Jesus Christ.
Galatians 2:20
“I have been crucified with Christ; and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
As a new creation, the Holy Spirit dwells in you, and when the Holy Spirit is within you, joy remains in your heart because you will always be witnessing new things, and new things bring joy to the heart.
As a new creation, you are a co-heir with Christ, inheriting all the blessings God has. The problem with many people is that, even though they are new creations, they still carry the old ways in their minds.
When you live as a new creation, any challenge that comes your way becomes an opportunity and a bridge to your victory, so you will never fear challenges.
Stop remembering and walking in the old ways, but focus on the new things. New things are good, they are honorable, and they bring glory.
