Ecclesiastes 10:1: “Dead flies cause the ointment of the perfumer to emit a foul odor; so does a little folly outweigh wisdom and honor.”
The Bible says that good ointment can be ruined if a dead fly falls into it.
Ecclesiastes 10:5-7: “There is an evil I have seen under the sun, the sort of error that arises from a ruler: Fools are put in many high positions, while the rich occupy low ones. I have seen slaves on horseback, while princes go on foot like slaves.”
The Bible speaks of an evil that exists here under the sun, where those who are supposed to be in high positions are placed low, and those who should be low are raised up. At first glance, this story may not make sense to you. How is it possible that someone destined to be wealthy is found at the lowest point, or that a king is walking on foot while a servant rides a horse? But the Bible says, “Dead flies cause the ointment of the perfumer to emit a foul odor; so does a little folly outweigh wisdom and honor.” There are things that God has prepared for you, and they have a sweet fragrance, like the ointment God has made for His children.
Not a single person was born by accident or without God preparing for them. Everyone born on this earth has a provision from Heaven. There is a budget for your life in Heaven; everything you will ever need, every school you will want to attend, the car you desire, the beautiful house you long for—it is all prepared for you. Therefore, you are not a surprise to God, and you have everything that God prepared for you.
Jesus became poor so that you could become rich, and by His wounds, we are healed. It is not God’s will for you to be sick or poor. If the devil has told you that poverty is your portion, he has deceived you. You are living a life of struggle because a wicked fly has invaded your life. But now, if you believe in Jesus and accept Him into your life, and if you agree to step into God’s will, He will restore to you everything He intended for you.
Accept it now so that your life may be like an ointment with a sweet fragrance, and you will be able to possess your inheritance.
Psalm 53:1: “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.”
Who is the fool? The fool is the one who says in his heart there is no God. Even if you have a degree and a PhD, if you reject God, you are a fool.
The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 10:5-6: “There is an evil I have seen under the sun, the sort of error that arises from a ruler: Fools are put in many high positions, while the rich occupy low ones.”
Fools have taken high positions and are ruling the world, while those who should be elevated are found at the bottom. It is not God’s will that great things in our nations be led by fools. No! God wants you, who knows Him, to rise up, be excellent, and take positions of leadership.
So why are you living a lowly life when you know God? Someone has switched your position, taken your glory. What was supposed to be yours has gone to someone else. The star that was supposed to shine on you is illuminating someone else. The glory that was meant for you is on another person. Someone is wearing your shoes. Someone, somewhere, is receiving your salary and enjoying your life while you are suffering.
The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 10:1, “Dead flies cause the ointment of the perfumer to emit a foul odor; so does a little folly outweigh wisdom and honor.” There is a fly that has died in your ointment, causing you to fail to receive what you were meant to receive. Where you are supposed to go, a wicked fly has entered, and the fragrance has been spoiled. Wicked people have taken your place. Today, I am on a mission to remove the fly from your ointment and restore your sweet-smelling ointment. Everything that belongs to you must return to you in the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus, everything that was released to you and was stolen has no more power over you. You are a king—you are not supposed to walk or be beneath. Rise up now, and let everything standing against your destiny be removed in the name of Jesus.
Today is your day. Receive the power that will set you free so that you can receive your destiny.
