Introduction:
The house of the Lord is a place to find joy.
Matthew 28:18 “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”
We have been empowered to bring change and transformation, to turn people into who God has intended them to be. There is a power available to make things happen in your life. Those who are sent to teach us were given commands, and understanding these commands is essential for success and prosperity.
Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Four Important Steps:
- Let God Be First in Everything You Do
Make God the priority in all areas of your life. The Holy Spirit is the one who performs, so if you speak and nothing happens, it means the Holy Spirit is not guiding you.
Before starting anything, remove the “darkness” in that area. This could be confusion, sin, or any obstacle.
Ezekiel 28:13 “You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you… your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared.”
God has already provided for us. Acknowledge Him first. - The Spirit of God Upon You
The Holy Spirit gives us power to act.
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in you and work through you. This empowerment is key to fulfilling God’s will. - Identify the Darkness So You Can Remove It
Before doing anything, seek knowledge and discern where the darkness is—whether in your business, work, family, children, or even in the economy. Identify obstacles and address them spiritually before proceeding. - Speak
Our power lies in what we say.
The Bible teaches us that the power of life and death is in the tongue. Declare over your business, life, marriage, children, and environment. Speak positive changes into existence, and things will move to a higher level in your life.
