Proverbs 18:20: “From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied.”
The mouth that God has given you has the power to either create or destroy your life. We often face difficult lives because of the words we speak to ourselves every day. If you confess life, blessings, or victory, you will see them. Your mouth holds the power to create anything.
Living out our salvation is a life of faith. The more often you speak, the more you speak in faith. To see victory in your spiritual walk, you must develop the habit of consistency—being consistent in your confession or what you declare in order to see the results of what you’re saying.
God has His part to play, and you have your part. Do not place your responsibilities on God, for example, saying, “If God has said it, it will happen!” or “If it’s written, it will happen automatically.” It doesn’t mean that once God has spoken, it will come to pass without you fulfilling your responsibilities concerning what He has spoken to you. There is something in your position that you must accomplish. Fulfill your responsibility to the Lord, and He will fulfill His.
Whenever you undertake something and it does not succeed, it is often because words have gone ahead to stand against what you are doing. For instance, if you don’t get a job, lack favor, people don’t like you, or no one rises to help you, it’s because vows or negative words have been spoken against you. If you don’t persist in confessing positively and breaking those vows, you won’t see results.
You need time to consistently break those words until you see the results. Many people are observing your life, but you don’t know all of them, and the ones you do know are very few.
Note:
You may find in your life that there’s someone you trust, but they end up doing harm to you. Do not hate them because they have acted according to the force that’s pursuing you. It is the devil’s work to blind your eyes so that instead of seeing the real problem you are facing, you see the person who wronged you. And if you focus on them, you won’t find a solution.
Everything that happens to you has two sides. Don’t point the finger at one side only. Instead, examine yourself because there’s something within you that is not in the right place. When your ways please the Lord, He reconciles you with your enemies. God will make even your enemies treat you well.
