DAILY DEVOTION,
With Apostle and Prophet Josephat Elias Mwingira, Efatha Church,
Genesis 4:6-7 “And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.”
Cain was asked by God, “Why are you angry?” It implies that the devil was drawn to Cain because of his rage. A person’s life journey is characterized by a struggle with sin, which arises from habits and threatens him. The devil needs your bad behavior to get close to you, but God wants your heart filled with him.
Changes in behavior will lead you to be poor or rich, witch or saint. Character has no age or belief, you may have faith but your behavior causes you to fail, you may not have faith but your behavior will make God win over you. For you to receive blessings from God, change your behavior that will make you have faith so that you can receive blessings from God.
Moses brought the children of Israel out of Egypt but he did not enter the promised land, he did not taste milk or honey because of his angry behavior. The Jews were complaining to Moses when they needed water, Moses turned to God and complained to him; God told Moses to tell this rock wants water, but Moses got angry and hit the rock, the rock gave water because God respected Moses, but anger caused him to end up in the desert. My son and daughter change your behavior so that you can possess.
