1 Peter 5:8-9 “[a]be calm,[b]be vigilant. [c]Because your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion seeking his devour. 9 Stand firm in the faith, knowing that your fellowmen throughout the world are undergoing the same sufferings. “
The devil is the main enemy and he never tires of seeking victory. He’s doing that because he lost the victory at Calvary 2000 years ago. The devil doesn’t stay in one place, he walks around looking for things to accuse people of God.
He is an experienced murderer and thief who gives people a deep sleep and pushes them into groups of dead. Jesus likened the devil to the wolf in the wilderness. The devil causes blindness and as a result, a person loses sight of what they should see according to the word of God.
To defeat the devil so he can’t blame you, know the ladder to climb to the top. Instead of taking elevator to the top, use the stairs to go up one step at a time. Don’t wish to reach the top like those who fly on a plane, set your goals when and where you will reach. Pay attention only to the devil who is your accuser. Jesus said that in the world there will be tribulation, but Jesus has overcome the world we must overcome it.
