Make a Decision

Make a Decision

Servant of God, Mama Eliakunda Mwingira – Efatha Church

2 Kings 7:3-8
“Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, ‘Why stay here until we die? If we say, “We’ll go into the city”—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die…’”

Because of the four lepers who made a decision, the entire nation was saved from famine. I encourage you today to make a decision to heal your family, your work, and your children. When facing challenges in your marriage, telling your sister-in-law or neighbor may not help. Instead, take bold decisions to change your situation. Make the choice to tell Jesus your troubles, for He has said, “Call unto me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.”

Child of God, be like the prodigal son who reflected in his heart and decided to return to his father. He acknowledged, “Yes, I have erred, but I will return.” Today, make the decision. Don’t die in sin—rise up, and God will help you. You may be living with another woman’s husband or with a mistress, but today, leave them and return to Jesus, just as the prodigal son returned to his father. Don’t dwell on what people will think if you go back. Make the decision to return, and Jesus will welcome and help you.

If the prodigal son had not made the decision, he would have died eating with the pigs. But when he chose to return, his father received him and clothed him with new garments.

Come to Jesus and let Him carry your burdens. Perhaps you are wondering, “If I leave this married man or this married woman, or if I abandon this sin, how will I live?” Jesus has already prepared help for you—do not allow yourself to die in sin.
