DAILY DEVOTION.

Psalms 11:3 “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
You may be wondering why God stands apart from you when you are tempted? It is because your foundations are destroyed. There are people who are very faithful to God, they love God, they serve God but their lives are still a struggle, some are struggling to get school fees for their children, others to find food, etc. If the source of your inheritance is destroyed and the right of possession is destroyed, what do you do? This is where the problem lies.
Do you know your foundation? Your foundation is your father; what did your father do? You may find that you are in grace and in the middle of that grace something happens, disrupting your life or you may see that everything is going according to plan and you say God is very good in your life, but suddenly violence occurs, and you do not understand what to do. Business can be disrupted, relationships can be disrupted, illnesses can arise just to distract you.
If the foundations are destroyed, what will the righteous do? It costs the mercy of God to restore and rebuild the foundations.
Child of God don’t be happy because the devil is running away from you, do you know your foundation? This year, seek God’s mercy so that your destroyed foundations are restored and you can receive your possessions.
PRAYER:
Lord, please do not let your mercy leave me; forgive the sins of my fathers and restore the foundations that were destroyed so that your Name may be exalted. Amen
