Preacher: Bishop Thabo Masema, South Africa
You must understand that to have an effective ministry, there must be unity working together in service. For the church to grow stronger, unity is essential because that is where its strength lies.

There are people who are meant to serve excellently in the church, yet they don’t seek recognition.
But others, when they do something in church, want everyone to know.
For example, if someone leads a prayer on Saturday and there is great anointing on Sunday, they boast, saying, “It’s because I prayed all night yesterday.”
However, the Kingdom of God is built when everyone understands their role and faithfully fulfils it. That’s when there’s sensitivity to what the Spirit is doing, not pride or self-promotion.

Luke 15:1-7

“Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, ‘This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.’
Then Jesus told them this parable:
‘Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?’”

BRINGING IN THE HARVEST INTO THE KINGDOM

One of the greatest expectations God has for us who are saved is to bring people into His Kingdom.
We who are born again must recognize that there are people out there who need Jesus, and it’s our responsibility to preach to them and lead them to Him.

Every believer must have at least one person they are nurturing in the church every year.

You cannot remain in church for a whole year without leading someone to Christ.
You must reach out to others and share the Good News of Jesus, for this is our greatest calling as believers.

Wherever you are at work, at school, in your family, or among your neighbors you have a duty to bring people to Jesus.

Just as ambassadors of a nation work to attract people to their kingdom, we, too, as ambassadors of Christ, must do the same for the Kingdom of God.

BEAR AND MAINTAIN FRUIT

Do everything you can to bear fruit for God and to preserve that fruit.
It is your duty as a child of God to bring in the harvest.
The church is not merely a place for fellowship and enjoyment; it is a place that sends us out to reach souls for Jesus.

LIKE A CAR THAT NEEDS SERVICE

Whenever you buy a car, you are given a certain mileage before it must go for service so it can continue performing well on the road.

Likewise, we who are saved are like cars that must be on the road, winning souls, healing the sick, counseling others, transforming lives, and setting people free.
We do this work from Monday to Saturday, and on Sunday, we return to church for service to be refreshed and ready for the next mission.

There is no car that is serviced and then just parked at home waiting for the next service.
Yet that is how many believers behave going to church every Sunday but never doing the work of God, never bringing anyone to Jesus.

So what kind of car are you?
Are you the type that gets serviced every Sunday but never drives out to fulfil your purpose?

If from Monday to Saturday no one has been saved through you, prayed for by you, or brought to Jesus by your witness, what is your role or importance in the church?

YOUR FAMILY IS YOUR FIRST MISSION FIELD

Any attack that happens in your family is often because someone in that family has opened a door to the enemy.
If you want to be safe, ensure your entire family is born again, so that when the enemy comes, there’s no one to open the door for him.

It’s your duty to make sure everyone who bears your family name is saved.
Ask yourself: How many people in my family have accepted Jesus?

Some of the spiritual battles you face are because those who share your bloodline are the very ones opposing you spiritually, consulting witchdoctors or working against you.
You must stand in the gap for them.
Pray and fast for your family.
Tell the Lord about them so they can be saved, for once they are, every demonic door in your lineage will be shut.

THE PASTOR’S ROLE VS. THE SHEEP’S ROLE

It’s not the pastor’s responsibility to make the church grow.
The pastor’s role is to feed and care for the flock, but it is the sheep that reproduce.
The church should grow because of you.

Many of your challenges at work exist because the people around you are not saved.
Witchcraft and evil practices thrive in workplaces because you haven’t brought those people to Jesus.

Once you witness to them and they are saved, you won’t need to search for who the witch is because they’ll have already been transformed by the power of Christ.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

When you bring more people to Jesus, those around you close many doors of the enemy that could be used to attack you.

FINAL REMINDER TO WOMEN

Sisters, it is forbidden to come next year without your husband.
