INTRODUCTION
This is the great secret to every Christian’s victory.
God has three spiritual medicines that He gives to each of us for our daily life. These are not hospital medicines, but divine remedies for the spirit, soul, and body.
God wants you to carry them, keep them in your heart, and use them three times a day without missing a dose.
The question is: What are these medicines?
👉 1 Corinthians 13:13 – “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
EXPLANATION OF GOD’S THREE MEDICINES
- FAITH
Faith is the ability to believe what your eyes cannot see.
It is the power to trust God even when your circumstances look impossible.
Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Faith is the foundation of your spiritual journey. Without faith, it is impossible to please God.
- HOPE
Hope is the pillar that helps you wait for God’s promises with patience and courage.
It is faith in process, faith under construction.
Romans 5:5a – “And hope does not disappoint us.”
Even when things do not go as planned, do not give up keep your hope alive.
Hope is what made Abraham continue to wait, even at the age of 99, without a child, still believing that God would fulfill His promise.
- LOVE
Love is the greatest medicine of all.
It is the power that connects and activates both faith and hope.
Corinthians 13:13 – “…and the greatest of these is love.”
Without love, faith grows cold and hope loses direction.
Love is the very heart of God. That is why Jesus gave His life for us out of love.
THE EXAMPLE OF ABRAHAM
Genesis 18:19 – “For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord…”
Abraham is the perfect example of one who used these three medicines:
- He had faith in the Word of God.
- He had hope that the promise would come true despite his old age.
- He showed love for God by being willing to sacrifice his son Isaac.
Because of these three divine medicines, God fulfilled His promises to Abraham making him the father of many nations.
PRAYER AND DAILY USE OF THE THREE MEDICINES
Just as a patient follows the doctor’s prescription and takes medicine three times a day, you too must use these spiritual medicines daily:
- Morning: Take Faith – Wake up believing that God has a good plan for your day.
- Afternoon: Take Hope – When challenges arise, stay strong and don’t give up.
- Evening: Take Love – Forgive, love others, and do well without growing weary.
If you take these divine medicines daily, you will never be ashamed, for hope does not disappoint.
CONCLUSION
Beloved, your challenges may be many whether in health, work, education, marriage, or business but the Lord says today:
“Take God’s three medicines: Faith, Hope, and Love.”
Even if you are surrounded by ten thousand enemies, do not be afraid; with Faith, Hope, and Love, you will not fail.
God is faithful. He never tires, never changes, never lacks, and never grows sick.
What He has promised He will fulfill!
