He who is humble says, “I have power.” This gathering is meant to mark your life and shape a bright future for you. As you draw near to the Lord of Lords, you will be established and gain favor in the eyes of God and people.
- A Position filled with God’s Love
- The position we should stand in is one filled with God’s love.
- This love is not based on your behavior or deeds but is God’s love living within you.
1 Corinthians 13:13:
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
- This love enables us to gain favor before God and accomplish righteousness and the kingdom of God in our lives.
- This is not sinful love but a love that builds up those who have repented and are saved.
Matthew 6:33:
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
- Seek God’s kingdom first, not wealth, houses, or land.
- God’s love dwells with you when you seek His kingdom.
- The longer you persist in seeking His kingdom, the stronger His love grows and stabilizes your life.
God’s Love i Evidence of Your Identity
1 John 3:1:
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.”
- You are called a child of God not because of words or speaking in new tongues, but because God’s love has reached and lives within you.
- This love is shown when you love others, even those who wrong you.
- A person filled with love does not judge but shows compassion; they hold no hatred.
God’s Love Transforms Within You
- When God’s love enters your heart, it destroys selfish desires and establishes God’s will within you.
- When this love grows in you, you become a true child of God this is salvation and God’s righteousness.
- Love does not count wrongs done to you; when you do good, God’s love remains in you, Matthew 6:33 (reiterated):
“Seek first God’s kingdom, and all other things will be added to you.”
- If love is within you, you will give out love; if hatred is within you, you will give out hatred.
- Your love for God gives you access to heavenly things; your love for humans gives you worldly things.
Conclusion:
