INTRODUCTION:
God is moving among the nations, and whenever He moves, He raises His people those who understand their calling, position, and the assignment that God has given them.
God is looking for people who will allow Him to dwell in them, people who understand their purpose and destiny.
In the heart of His servant, God has placed a desire to help people understand what He has given them.
It is God’s will that you and I stand firm in our positions so that we may possess what He has prepared for us.
1. GOD HAS A POSITION FOR YOU
God has a special position for you in:
- Your personal life
- Your ministry
- Your family
- Your destiny
The greatest tragedy is not the lack of money, friends, or opportunities but losing the position God has given you.
But God is ready to raise people who will stand firm in their positions and completely fulfill His purpose.
2. WALK WITH GOD IN THE NEW THING HE IS DOING
The Bible says, “Forget the former things, for they have passed away; behold, I am doing a new thing.”
God is doing something new in your life, but you must be willing to walk with Him.
Ephesians 2:6-7 reminds us:
“And God raised us with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms…”
God has placed you in a spiritual position and lifted you out of the pit of destruction so that you may dwell with Him.
Now is the time to accept your position as a child of God.
3. STAND IN YOUR POSITION WITH COURAGE
Joshua 1:6 says:
“Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.”
Like Joshua, you must stand boldly and courageously in your position.
God wants you to know that He knew you before you were born and already prepared every step of your journey.
Your challenges and hardships are part of the process that establishes you in the right place for your purpose.
4. THE EXAMPLE OF JOSEPH – REMAINING IN GOD’S POSITION
Joseph seemed defeated when his brothers sold him, but to God, that was the path to place him in his royal position.
He endured slavery and imprisonment, but ultimately stood before Pharaoh and became the ruler of Egypt.
God placed Joseph in that position to save the nation of Israel.
In the same way, God will place you in your position so that you may redeem your family, your community, and your nation.
You must understand and remain in the position God has given you.
5. RECOGNIZING YOUR POSITION BRINGS NEW REVELATION
Esther 4:14 reminds us:
“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
There is a specific time and purpose that God has for your life.
When you stand in your position, you will experience new understanding, new strength, and the fulfilment of God’s purpose.
CONCLUSION:
You are a child of God, appointed and confirmed.
God has never changed His mind about you.
Stand firm in your position; do not be moved by circumstances.
The challenges you face are God’s way of leading you into the fulfilment of His divine purpose.
God is looking for people like you, those who will stand strong until their destiny is fulfilled.
Please do not abandon your position; hold it by faith.
CLOSING PRAYER:
“Lord, help me not to lose my position.
Give me strength to stand firm in Your purpose.
Fill me with courage like Joshua and grace like Esther,
so that I may fulfil what You have destined for my life.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!”
