Scripture Reading:
Luke 15:8-10
“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
MESSAGE
When the woman lost her coin, she did three important things:
- She lit a lamp,
- She swept the house,
- And she searched carefully until she found it.
When she finally found it, she called her friends and neighbors to celebrate with her.
THE SPIRITUAL MEANING
Just as it is important to seek the lost sheep, it is also very important to seek the lost coin.
The Bible says we are children of God, and wealth is our rightful inheritance.
If we are God’s children but there is no evidence of prosperity in our lives, it means that something has been stolen from us our coin has been lost.
So the question is: Where is the church’s coin?
It means that the Church has lost its coin, and it is our responsibility as the body of Christ to search for that lost coin.
There are certain things that the Church cannot fully accomplish until it recovers that lost coin because financial strength is essential for advancing the Gospel.
THE VALUE OF WEALTH
The Bible says, “Money answers all things.” (Ecclesiastes 10:19)
It is true that strength and power are good, but there are things you cannot do without money.
The Bible also says, “The poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard,” while a fool who has money will still be listened to.
In this world, there are many foolish people who are respected because they have money, while wise people remain unheard because they are poor.
Some of you carry solutions for your families, but your families do not listen to you simply because of your financial status.
Child of God, make sure you search for your lost coin, for that is where your value lies.
THE JOURNEY OF RECOVERING YOUR COIN
When you receive sound teaching about financial principles and learn how to manage money wisely, you begin your journey toward recovering your lost coin.
A great financial rain is coming upon you.
Remember, the Church is not the building it is the people.
Therefore, a great economic revival is coming to you personally.
What used to be difficult for you will soon become easy.
I release divine wealth into your life in the name of Jesus.
Whatever the enemy has been blocking in your financial life, God is bringing breakthrough and elevation.
SPIRITUAL BONDAGES THAT HINDER PROSPERITY
Some people fail to walk in their divine prosperity because of family curses or ancestral bonds.
Today, every chain that has held you back will break in the name of Jesus!
There are demonic spirits that steal people’s finances and hinder them from reaching their full potential.
How can you recognize this?
By the signs in your dreams:
- If you often dream that you are back in primary or secondary school, though you finished long ago, it is a sign that the enemy is pulling you backward.
- If you dream that you are living in a village you never lived in before, it is a sign that a spirit is trying to return you to your past.
These are spiritual indicators that Satan is attempting to reverse your progress.
PRAYER POINTS
- Pray for Deliverance from Backwardness:
“Lord, set me free from every spirit that draws me backward. My life must move forward, not backward, in the mighty name of Jesus!” - Prayer for Financial Freedom:
Some people are under constant attack in their finances nothing lasts; everything spoils or fails.
If you often notice that flies follow you, it symbolizes something rotten in your life you must pray for cleansing and freedom.
Break every spirit of destruction over your finances and declare:
“Whatever I touch will not decay or fail. My finances will not be destroyed again, in the name of Jesus!” - Prayer Against Financial Leakage:
If you notice that every time you buy new clothes they quickly tear or get damaged, it’s a sign that something is spiritually stealing your money.
Pray: “Lord, close every hole through which my blessings are leaking. Let every devourer in my life be destroyed, in Jesus’ name!”
CONCLUSION
Child of God, your coin your financial destiny must be recovered.
The woman did not rest until she found her coin; likewise, you must not rest until you recover your lost opportunities and blessings.
Light the lamp of revelation, sweep your spiritual house, and seek diligently until you find what was lost.
When you recover it, heaven will rejoice with you!
