Day 2 Teaching Summary

Theme: Standing in God’s Position and Walking in Divine Blessing

Day 2 featured powerful teachings from Pastor James Commey and Pastor Jens Garnfeldt from Denmark, emphasizing our divine position, authority, and blessings in Christ. The key focus was on understanding who we are in God, walking in His purpose, and standing firm in the spiritual position He has given us.

1. GOD HAS A POSITION AND PURPOSE FOR YOU (Pastor James Commey)

Using scriptures from Ephesians 2:6-7, Joshua 1:6, and Esther 4:14, Pastor Commey reminded believers that God has prepared a divine position for everyone in personal life, ministry, family, and destiny. The greatest tragedy is not the loss of wealth or opportunity but losing the place God has assigned to you.

He encouraged the church to walk with God in the new things He is doing, to be strong and courageous like Joshua, and to remain steadfast in their calling despite challenges. Through the example of Joseph, he taught that hardship often leads to divine promotion and purpose. Like Esther, believers must recognize that they have come into their position “for such a time as this.” The message concluded with a call to stand firm in faith, not to abandon one’s spiritual position, and to trust God’s plan even in trials.

2. MAN’S DIVINE AUTHORITY AND DOMINION (Pastor Jens Garnfeldt)

Drawing from Genesis 1:26, Psalm 8:4-6, and Psalm 115:16, Pastor Garnfeldt emphasized that God created man in His image to rule, possess, and exercise dominion on earth. Humanity was crowned with glory and honor, making man a representative of God’s authority. However, through sin, Adam lost that authority, which Satan temporarily gained. Jesus Christ came in human form to legally restore mankind’s lost dominion.

Through His death and resurrection, Christ redeemed humanity and restored our authority over the earth. Believers are now rulers again crowned with glory and honor. Pastor Garnfeldt highlighted that God always works through people; every divine movement on earth requires a human vessel. He prophesied a coming national revival in Tanzania, declaring that God is raising vessels of fire who will carry His glory across Africa.

3. THE BLESSING OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS (Pastor Jens Garnfeldt)

Preaching from Ephesians 1:3, Pastor Garnfeldt taught that God has blessed believers with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. True blessing, he said, is not measured by material possessions but by the presence and life of God within us. The blessing empowers success, transformation, and divine fruitfulness.

He reminded the congregation that Jesus took the curse upon Himself so that humanity might live in the blessing of Abraham. This blessing brings increase, multiplication, strength, and victory. Through faith, every believer becomes a carrier of divine life and heavenly power, walking daily in God’s favor and glory.

4. RESTORATION OF IDENTITY AND DESTINY (Pastor James Commey)

Citing 2 Timothy 3:16, Genesis 1:26, and 1 Chronicles 4:9, Pastor Commey concluded with a message on identity restoration. The Word of God, he said, is the divine guide that shapes our perception and restores our position in Christ. Every believer is created in God’s image not by accident, but for purpose and dominion.

He shared the story of Jabez, who refused to live under the pain and limitation of his name. Likewise, believers must reject false identities imposed by circumstances or people. God changes the way we see ourselves, as He did for Gideon and David, and every negative word or curse spoken against us is broken in Jesus’ name. Pastor Commey encouraged believers to rise up, claim their divine destiny, and walk in God’s glory.

CONCLUSION

Day 2 was a strong reminder that:

  • God has a divine position and purpose for each person.
  • We are created in His image to rule and manifest His glory.
  • Jesus restored our authority and released us into the blessing of Abraham.
  • Our true identity and destiny are defined by God, not by human words or limitations.

Believers were urged to stand firm, walk courageously in their calling, and carry the revival fire that God is igniting in the nations.
