APOSTLE AND PROPHET JOSEPHAT ELIAS MWINGIRA – EFATHA CHURCH
Look at yourself do you truly deserve to be here today? Are you better than those who have died? It brings tears to my eyes to see us crossing from one year into another while we are still alive. I look and ask myself why children are born and die while parents thought it was their own time… some died by bullets, some by poisoning, others through accidents. But you and I are alive. Tell God thank you for being alive.
How much have you gone through, yet today you are alive, tell God thank you.
Beloved, the One who healed you has healed you, and you do not know the day you will depart; stop boasting and live a life of thanksgiving before God.
In the Bible there are three words that you need. These words are not often spoken by those who are saved and love God why? Because they do not truly understand their meaning. These three words carry the Trinity of God:
- Jehovah Jireh – meaning God is the Provider, the Sustainer. This word is very important because it is what sustains creation. Jehovah Jireh God who gives us strength, a generous God. For you to live, eat, and drink, you need this word: Jehovah Jireh.
- Shalom – this word is written in the Bible 305 times. It says, “Do not be afraid.” Shalom means “The peace of the Lord be with you.” It preserves you, surrounds you, and keeps you safe. When we say Shalom, it means do not fear be safe and be victorious.
- Efatha – this is a word you may overlook because it was spoken only once, yet within this Trinity it is present. It means “Be opened.” Everything that has been closed, oppressed, or suppressed you when you declare Efatha, it is finished. Even though I did not fully understand the beauty of this word, I did not choose it knowingly, yet it carries extraordinary power.
Efatha means open. Whatever is holding you must break today. Whatever was closed so that you could not enter or cross to the other side, whatever was placed to stop you from moving forward-I declare in the presence of the Lord it must break today. You must cross to the other side; you must pass through, no matter who bound you. If there is something good there appointed for your destiny, you will enter now. Believe, and it shall be yours.
You may believe God, but it is not easy to believe a servant of God. Why? Because he is human like you, so you begin to examine and look at his weaknesses. You must understand that God does not use the flesh; He uses the Spirit. That is why the Bible says, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord. The Spirit of God can cause anything to be my child, today is your day.
Psalm 45:7:
“You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy more than your companions.”
If you want joy in life, hate injustice and love righteousness. What is righteousness? It is the truth of God. Love God’s truth. When you do this, even if someone wrongs you, do not wrong them love righteousness. When you love righteousness, God anoints you. This anointing does not come from your pastor but from the Lord of lords. When it comes upon a person, their life begins to prosper because the oil of joy causes a person to flourish. A saved person who hates injustice and loves righteousness shows a transformed life.
The oil of joy comes when you decide to live a life that pleases God. You will be amazed how God lifts you from one level to another.
You know God has changed you even though you live the same life.
Galatians 2:20:
“I have been crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
If you want this anointing to work for you, when someone slanders or insults you, do not be angry have mercy. Even Christ, when He was crucified, declared mercy.
The life of salvation is the life of Christ in you. It is no longer your life just as a married woman cannot go anywhere without consulting her husband. There is a deep secret when you become righteous in God: you must reach a place where you say, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” The life of one who is going to heaven is a life lived as though Christ Himself is living. You must declare that you belong to Christ.
If you see another person fall into sin, do not carry their secret and spread it. God allowed you to see it, but you are not a messenger of bad news. When you saw someone’s secret, where did you take it? If you want to be God’s confidant, refuse to carry and spread another person’s wrongdoing.
Isaiah 1:18 – 19:
“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.”
You who are saved belong to God, and your life is God’s. Therefore you should eat the good prepared for you but there are things you must abandon in order to eat.
The Bible says, “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” To eat the good of the land, God first removes the evil that prevents you from receiving. If you are obedient, are you eating the good of the land? If you are not, know that you have not yet fully accepted and obeyed.
If you want to eat the good of the land, first be willing and obedient. What is obedience? It is doing what you do not like to do but must do. When you do that, God removes evil from within us removing inherited sinful patterns then He allows His goodness to fill you, because God does not place His goodness where evil remains.
If you want to eat the good of the land, understand this:
- Your level of willingness determines how much evil, sin, and wickedness is removed from you.
- Your level of obedience brings an equal level of enjoying the good of the land. Great obedience brings great blessings; little obedience brings little. If your obedience is only speaking in tongues, you may only receive good health.
When you agree to do what you once refused, God will cause what resisted you to submit. Nothing resists a person like success that is why few are successful.
Identify what has been resisting you, write it down, and ask God to show you where you have not obeyed so that those things may obey you.
Are you ready to obey? If you are, may God give you the good of the land.
THIS IS OUR YEAR TO DO THE WILL OF GOD SO THAT HE MAY BLESS US.
In 2025 God told us to stand in our positions because we are approaching our inheritance. God is leading us into His goodness these are preparations to bring us into the beauty of His glory. What does God want from us? He wants us, this year, to do His will. This is the year of doing God’s will. I believe with all my heart that because this is the year of doing His will, some people will become extraordinary and I am one of them.
What will happen? Some will receive correction if they refuse to obey, for the Bible says, “Those whom I love I rebuke.” This is the season to do God’s will, for God has approved that we eat and drink.
Ephesians 5:17:
“Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
This time we are not foolish. God can command someone in Germany to bring you money for business; He can command your neighbor to do the same. But the question is: how pleased is God with your life?
Go and eat the good of the land.
God told Joshua:
Joshua 1:7:
“Be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you… then you will prosper wherever you go.”
My child, do what I tell you do not seek your own way. When you are under a servant of God and you speak the words he has spoken, they become yours, and when you speak them correctly, the world must obey.
What have you understood? What have you been told?
Again, Psalm 45:7 says you are anointed with the oil of joy. This oil will flow to you when you accept and obey even those things you feel ashamed to do. When you do so, God will cause what you desire to obey you.
The oil will flow, and God will remove every hardship and evil so you may eat the good of the land. In 2023 He said we would possess; last year He said we should settle in our position. Now this year He commands us to fulfill His will so that He may bless us.
Child of God, in this year 2026, accept and obey so that you may be blessed.
PRAYERS
- Ask God to give you grace to do what He tells you to do (to be obedient).
- Lord, enable me to do Your will and what pleases You.
CONFESSION
- Yes! Let my heart please the Lord, my ways please the Lord, my works please the Lord. Lord, let my words please You; let my eyes look to You alone.
- Lord, today I begin a new day, a new year. I want everything to be new. Spirits of sickness have no place in me; diseases, weakness, accidents, bad news, death, and disasters have no place in me. I shut them out, for I am chosen by the Lord.
DECLARATIONS
- In the name of Jesus, I command my bones to be aligned and strong to live long. I command every part of my body to remain in place no dislocation or fracture until the day I depart this world, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord Jesus, I command every organ in my body lungs, kidneys, liver, reproductive organs, pancreas, and all organs to be healthy. Whatever enters my body shall nourish it and keep it healthy; every sickness in me must leave in Jesus’ name.
- Every door closed to me, I declare Efatha in the name of Jesus.
- From today, every weapon formed against me I condemn in Jesus’ name; every gathering of the enemy against me I destroy. Let them fail and never appear again.
- Lord Jesus, I come against whatever is consuming my finances.
- Lord, You said not to allow witchcraft to live; therefore every group rising against me, I cut off their power in the name of Jesus.
- Every plan I have made or will make to generate income shall succeed in Jesus’ name, and nothing shall hinder it.
